Summer Serve Kick-Off
On June 7, we kicked off the season by packing approximately 40,000 rice meals! Those meals will be sent around the world to families in need! A heartfelt thank you to all who served!
Community Meal Night
Our Bollinger County campus hosted a community meal night on May 28 at the Marble Hill Ball Fields! From yard games to full plates to big laughs—it was all smiles and good vibes! Thanks to everyone who came out and made it a night to remember!
LIFT Food Delivery Outreach
On June 28, LIFT, an outreach of CPC, partnered with Convoy of Hope and volunteers from a dozen area churches to deliver hundreds of food and hygiene bundles to local families. Over 1400 people received over $70,000 in food and supplies! Thank you volunteers for making an impact in your community!
Food Drive Challenge
Throughout July and August, the CPC family donated hundreds of food items to the Jackson and Marble Hill Food Pantries! Those organizations provide food and supplies to those in need in our community, and they greatly appreciate your massive contributions!
More ways you (or your small group) can get involved and make a positive impact in our community:
•Sponsor a teacher (or classroom) and provide needed items
•Clean up parks
•Mow lawns in your neighborhood
•Check-in with your elderly neighbors
•Make hygiene bags for the homeless
•Host a baby shower for a mom in need through Options for Women
•Have kids color pictures for those in nursing homes
•Write encouraging letters to first responders
Consider volunteering at various organizations:
•LIFT: Participate in local outreach projects
•Hospitals: Offer support to patients and staff
•Nursing Homes: Engage in activities like reading, playing games & spending quality time
•Habitat for Humanity: Help build homes for those in need
•City Parks and Rec Departments: Assist with community events and maintenance
