Grow Deeper. Walk Closer. Disciple Others.
Huddles are small, intentional discipleship groups designed to help people follow Jesus, apply Scripture to everyday life, and learn how to help others do the same.
Simple. Reproducible. Life-changing.
What Is a Huddle?
A Huddle is a small group of three to five people who meet regularly to grow in their relationship with Jesus and learn how to disciple others.
Inspired by the discipleship model of Replicate Ministries, Huddles focus on spiritual growth, accountability, and multiplication. Rather than simply gaining biblical knowledge, Huddles help participants develop rhythms of following Jesus, obeying His Word, and investing in others.
Huddles are built around simple, reproducible tools that keep the focus on Scripture, reflection, and life transformation. The goal is not just personal growth, but helping participants become disciple-makers who can eventually lead others through the same process.
Who Are Huddles For?
Huddles are for anyone who wants to grow spiritually and learn how to follow Jesus more intentionally.
You do not have to attend Connection Point Church to be part of a Huddle. Many Huddles include friends, coworkers, neighbors, and family members who want to grow in their faith together.
Whether you are new to discipleship or have been following Jesus for years, there is a place for you. Most Huddles begin through natural relationships, making discipleship both personal and reproducible.
What Happens in a Huddle?
Huddles are built around intentional conversations and simple discipleship rhythms. Each gathering is designed to help participants grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus while learning how to disciple others.
In a Huddle You Will:
Study & Apply Scripture
Engage with God’s Word and apply biblical truth to everyday life.
Build Authentic Relationships
Form meaningful connections through honest conversation, encouragement, and accountability.
Pray & Support One Another
Celebrate victories, carry burdens, and grow together through intentional prayer.
Develop Spiritual Rhythms
Practice habits that lead to lasting transformation and equip you to help others follow Jesus.
Starting a Huddle
Many Huddles begin with people who already know one another. If you feel God leading you to gather three to five people and grow together, we would love to support you.
Registering your Huddle allows our team to support you with encouragement, coaching, prayer, and helpful resources as your group grows.
Why Do Huddles Register?
Registering your Huddle helps us support you well. Registration allows our team to pray for your group, provide coaching and discipleship resources, stay connected with leaders, and celebrate spiritual growth and multiplication.
Registration is not about oversight. It is about partnership and encouragement as you disciple others.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to attend Connection Point Church to be part of a Huddle?
No. Huddles are designed to help people grow as disciples of Jesus, and participants do not have to attend Connection Point Church to join or be part of a Huddle. Many groups include friends, coworkers, neighbors, and family members who want to grow in their faith together.
Who can join a Huddle?
Huddles are open to anyone who is willing to pursue spiritual growth, engage in honest conversations, and commit to learning and applying God’s Word. Some Huddles form naturally through relationships, while others begin through church connections or shared interest.
What is expected from someone in a Huddle?
Huddle members are encouraged to attend consistently, participate honestly in discussion and reflection, spend time in Scripture throughout the week, support and pray for one another, and remain open to growing as a disciple and eventually discipling others.
How long does a Huddle last?
Every Huddle is different. Many groups meet for several months to a year, but the goal is multiplication rather than permanence. Over time, participants are encouraged to step into leadership and begin discipling others.
How often do Huddles meet?
Most Huddles meet weekly or bi-weekly. Each group decides what schedule works best for their members.
Where do Huddles meet?
Huddles can meet almost anywhere — homes, coffee shops, workplaces, church spaces, or online. The focus is not the location but the intentional discipleship happening within the group.
Do Huddles follow a curriculum?
Huddles use simple, reproducible discipleship tools that focus on Scripture, reflection, and application rather than traditional curriculum-based teaching. Huddles will follow the Church-wide Bible reading plan and use the H.E.A.R. Journal method.
Does registering a Huddle mean it is officially led by CPC?
Registering simply helps Connection Point Church support your discipleship efforts. Huddles can meet anywhere and include anyone, but registration keeps leaders connected to encouragement, resources, and pastoral support.
Can I be part of a Huddle if I am not ready to lead one?
Absolutely. Many people begin by participating in a Huddle before ever leading one.
The Heart Behind Huddles
Huddles exist to help people follow Jesus and help others do the same. Our prayer is that discipleship would multiply in homes, workplaces, schools, and communities.
You do not have to have everything figured out to take your next step. You just have to be willing to grow.
