First General Baptist Church of Jackson was organized and pastored by Clifton Trentham.

The church purchased the old Master’s property, which launched our current location.

The church opened it’s new sanctuary.

Rev. Luther Rhodes elected as pastor.

Built activity center and additional parking area to accommodate new growth and youth ministry.

To help with the continued growth, the church moved all worship services to the former activity center, now our current Worship Center.

Chris Vaught elected as pastor replacing the retiring Luther Rhodes.

The First General Baptist Church of Jackson officially changes its name to Connection Point Church.

The church purchased 28 acres on Deerwood Drive to be the future main campus location of Connection Point Church.

Officially broke ground to begin construction of the new facilities on Deerwood.

As part of the church’s move to the new campus and launching of the new website, a full logo rebrand took place across all major ministries.

As construction nears completion and we prepare to move to the new campus, the CPC leadership launches Operation: Now.
