Sugarhouse Movie @ CPC

“Sugarhouse” is an award-winning film produced by CPC partners Fred Jones and Shirlee Wilson. The movie was filmed over a span of 12 months in southeast Missouri, featuring locations in Cape Girardeau and Perry counties. “Sugarhouse” had its world premiere at the St. Louis International Film Festival, and features CPC Pastor Darren DeLoach!

It is the inspiring story of a teenage girl struggling to hold the family together after being abandoned by their outlaw father. As a mysterious disorder threatens her little sister, and her wayward brother returns, she soon uncovers the secrets that lie within the family sugarhouse. “Sugarhouse” explores the bonds of sisterhood and father-son relationships against the backdrop of the rural Midwest, and speaks to God’s presence during the troubles of life.

Stay after the screening to meet the cast and crew and learn more about the making of the film and how God was at work during the process.

“Sugarhouse” is rated PG for some adult content.
